Is Men’s Jewellery Becoming As Fashionable as Womens?

Jewellery can be such a fashion statement and can certainly make or break an outfit.

Of course, it’s not only females who wear jewellery nowadays. Men’s jewellery seems to be just as important in today’s society. I still find it amusing that men are wearing jewellery, and wearing it so well. It might not be long before they overtake us women in the fashion stakes.

There are quite a few male stars who really make their jewellery work for them.

A man well known to us all for his ever changing fashion sense is David Beckham. He manages to style his jewellery with his look and does it very well. It’s not unusual to see Mr Beckham wearing silver necklaces and silver rings. Even though he sometimes comes across as a bit effeminate, it doesn’t seem to bother him, so why should we mind?

Russell Brand is another cool male who wears a lot of jewellery. He has such an individual style, but it totally works for him. I wonder if his style will change now that he has just got engaged to American singer Katy Perry. I wonder if she will try to have a go at taming his personality and outrageous image – I shouldn’t think for one moment she will be successful.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Johnny Depp is my favourite star who wears wonderful jewellery. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter what he wears, what sort of style he is following, or how he wears it, he always looks pretty hot.He has a charm and wonderful personality that would be difficult to duplicate. I cannot picture a man looking finer than our Johnny Depp and I am sure many of you will be in agreement with me.

At the opposite end of the spectrum you have the young male stars who wear huge rapper looking chunky jewellery. I think it is really ugly looking and must weigh quite a bit. My daughter can’t get enough of ‘Chipmunk’ at the moment. I assumed she meant Alvin and the Chipmunks, but I got that wrong because she was referring to the upcoming young rapper. The style this young lad follows says it all about what is wrong with society today.If this is what Britain has to look forward to then God Help Us All.
