Means To Be Able To Accomplish A Natural Setting Via Artificial Plants

without comments

Decorating the interior of your home or office is not that difficult to do. There are a lot of things that you can easily buy on home depots and department stores that could give a lively atmosphere to the place that you want to decorate. One of the things that you can get from these stores is artificial plants.

Using artificial plants as decorations for the interior of an office or a home is a good option. Why is it beneficial to use artificial plants in your establishment?

There are a lot of advantages that you will have if you choose artificial plants. First of all, you might ask why artificial plants when you can have real plants? The answer to that question is that real plants will have difficulty in surviving the ambience of the interior of a home or office.

The environment inside an office is very different from the outside. There is no enough sunlight to give those real plants the energy that they need to grow and thrive. Watering is simply not enough to give these plants the nutrition that they need. Real plants need to be in an environment where they can grow well. If you try to put them in establishments and try to grow them, you are just wasting your money and they will just end up dying.

With artificial plants, you don’t have to worry about them dying or withering. The good thing about these artificial plants is that you don’t have to worry about them so much. The hassle of watering the plants and their leaves falling is out of the topic. You don’t have to worry about bugs and pests eating up its leaves and branches.

Artificial plants being sold today have a similar look to those real plants. Unlike before, where artificial plants are very obvious when we look at them. With the technology and materials that we have today, you will be able to have a plant decoration that will surely give a natural look to the naked eye. Even if you look at the plant twice you still won’t be able to determine if it is real or not.

Touching them could also trick your senses. I once had an experience with these artificial plants. I tried to touch them and still couldn’t figure out for myself whether they are real or not. I ended up asking one of the employees in the office just to know the truth.

These artificial plants are a better alternative to real plants. They need lesser maintenance and they don’t become a mess as time goes by. Cleaning them twice or thrice a year is good enough for these decorations. As you can see, it is an advantage to have these artificial plants around your place. They do not only beautify any place, they also give a cool, natural look that helps relax your eyes.

A lot of men and women choose artificial outdoor plants and imitation plants these days. This is because they’re not hard for them to stay in tip-top shape.

Basic Guide To Bonsai Ficus For beginners

without comments

Bonsai ficus is very easy to keep, maintenance wise they require little, and are very unusual in looks compared to other bonsai trees.Being easy to keep, the bonsai ficus is a good starter for beginners.

Species Worth Trying.

You will find growing a bonsai ficus can be a very enjoyable and simple task, as long as you pay regular attention to the proper care of it, this way you will start to learn about the basics of caring and growth as it develops. There are 3 worth trying initially, and they are the weeping ficus, the narrow leaved ficus, and the dwarf ficus.

Humidity And Temperature.

Many ficus have thick waxy leaves, which allow them to tolerate extremely dry air. Fortunately ficus are really not to dependent on humidity and will grow well in a range of humidity levels. If you are growing your bonsai ficus outside for the summer remember to bring them back in as night temperatures get near 55 Fahrenheit.

Ficus Propagation.

Propagation of your bonsai ficus is simple and easy, as ficus in general will root from cuttings very well, just puting a cutting in soil is enough to have it rooting soon, but then you may already have plenty of ficus babies.

Roots Of Ficus.

A lot of ficus will naturally grow banyan roots, so this feature is used often with the styling of bonsai ficus with the air root and the root over the rock type styles, using superthrive, on a monthly basis will help in the forming of the banyan roots.

Ficus Seed growing.

Another way of getting stock to make your bonsai ficus is seeds, though this is harder to do than through cuttings, seeds from ficus need heat and of course humidity, but the seeds can easily fall foul of mold.

Watering Ficus.

When it comes to watering your bonsai ficus, remember ficus like dry intervals between watering, by allowing the soil to dry, and you will know this just by feeling the soil regularly, and then watering, you should not have over watering problems. Autumn and winter can be a time when you may see leaves dropping or turning yellow, if you see this then its very possible the plant is being over watered.

General Thoughts.

Learning about the basics of caring for your bonsai ficus will encourage you to want to know more, and to keep other types of bonsai trees, both indoor and out door.
